Welcome to Lookout Portuguese Water Dogs

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, we are passionate about Portuguese Water Dogs and maintaining the breed's working abilities and characteristics. 

 

A "lookout" is a member of the crew stationed on the forecastle, or on the bridge, whose duty it is to watch for any dangerous objects or for any other vessels heaving into sight.  The PWD historically acted as a lookout on the fishing boat and this inspired our kennel name.
